II Timothy - The Jesus of II Timothy
Introduction: "A portrait of Christ"
His presence exceeds human life and human mortality
Jesus lives for more than just one lifetime
Jesus is more than a mere human
His position is majestic and His person is divine
Jesus is the King of a Kingdom
Jesus is the Lord of Heaven
His power is supernatural and His promises are eternal
Jesus is the source of life beyond physical life
Jesus rewards the godly with blessings, heaven, and honors
His pattern is holy and His path is costly
Jesus is the highest expression of faith and love
Jesus lives on a road built by sacrifices
MESSAGE:
"THE PORTRAIT OF CHRIST IN
THE SCRIPTURES
SHOULD BECOME THE PRESENCE OF CHRIST
IN OUR LIVES."
