Worship at Christ Community Church |
Sunday Morning Worship: 10:55 AM
|
We worship to glorify God. Jesus said, “God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.” (John 4:24). At Christ Community Church we believe our spirits are not bound by ritual, tradition, or law; but are lifted up in worship and adoration of the One who has freed us from sin. Our worship therefore is infused with the truth of the Scriptures in our singing, praying, reading and teaching from the Bible.
Our teaching and discipling ministries make up the foundation of our service for God at Christ Community Church. Beginning with our Sunday morning preaching ministry and branching into a wide range of teaching ministries throughout the week, we lovingly but unapologetically teach and preach the Bible for faith and spiritual growth, and believe the application of God’s Word, centered on Jesus Christ, is the only means for experiencing true meaning and purpose in life. Holding to the orthodox Christian beliefs as taught in the Scriptures, we are convinced that solutions to contemporary problems can be found in the revealed faith. |
Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; bring an offering, and come into his courts! Worship the LORD in the splendor of holiness; tremble before him, all the earth! Say among the nations, "The LORD reigns! Yes, the world is established; it shall never be moved; he will judge the peoples with equity." - Psalm 96:8-10 ESV
